katan Banarasi Sarees, Hand painted sarees in Gurgaon

It has been an entirely loosened up three day weekend; despite the fact that I had a few errands and
tasks arranged, we wound up simply whiling the day away over home-cooked dinners and marathon
watching the most recent period of How To Get Away With Murder.
Maybe not the best utilization of an open occasion, but rather was it consistently fulfilling to do nothing
for a change!
That extravagance is currently arriving at an end as the night liquefies into the dark, and I'm beginning
to consider the 4 long periods of work in front of me which incorporate 2 days back before the camera
for our syndicated program.
You've most likely observed me wear explanation pieces by Bandini, I found them a year back when I
was searching for a birthday present for my mom and needed something that would match her
officially perfect adornments accumulation.
With a silver neckpiece that suits the katan banarasi Sarees in Gurgaon that I bought from bandini,
gave me the best pictures for presenting and posting. Lol!
you see here is a flawless illustration; I would have never picked something so fantastic for myself
until the point that Reuben persuaded me that hand painted sarees in Gurgaon was the ideal match.
Furthermore, how right he was as well If you'd jump at the chance to examine Bandini's gathering, it
will be in plain view at the bandini website. Let me give some tips to take care of your best
new katan banarasi Sarees.
When you recover your spotless Sarees, store the Cotton and Silk ones collapsed, not hung. Overlap
them as huge as your rack will permit, and stack them one over another. The main Sarees that ought
to be hung, are light Silk Sarees, engineered material Sarees and any Saree that you will reuse inside
the month. Natural filaments like Cotton and Silk don't do too well when left to the powers of gravity
and will extend after some time. Collapsing them level is the most ideal route forward.
With any Saree that isn't utilized frequently, it's best to air the Saree out at regular intervals; this simply
can mean removing them from the closet, shaking them out and refolding them along with another
wrinkle. Along these lines, those troublesome shadowy lines won't set into your Saree following quite
a while of neglect.
As I had the plan of taking a photoshoot, I and Reuben joined together and he selected a new
hand painted sarees in Gurgaon from the Bandini stores. I made an exquisite design of the blouse
and planned all the accessories. As it was a grey color one, I choose black metal jewelry and had
made many nice pictures. I also shared some frames with  Reuben. We had the best photographs
with a perfect outfit.

Hand painted sarees in gurgaon,Silk sarees in gurgaon

I have always been wanting to work for any non-profit group that aims that
improving the lives of the ordinary. I wanted to work for organisations that
would work closely at the grass root level to uphold the cultural integrity and
diversity of our country. An organisation which is working to preserve the age-old
traditions and techniques deployed in the work of artistry and craftsmanship.
Our country has always been a rich soil culminating in the intricacies of culture
and craftsmanship. Owing to a large history of foreign invasions and reigns, our
society has perfectly amalgamated the aspects of their traditions and arts as
well. Be it the architecture, paintings, singing or dancing, we observe a wide
diversity in it.  I was always fascinated by all these facts and other things that
my history teacher would tell me. She would then also tell us the plight of
traditional crafts and art workman in the wake of modern machines and
computing. How the large assembly lines and automated work has taken their
livelihood away.

I would often dispute it with the fact that it has actually saved us a lot of time
and money and also the rates are comparatively cheap. But I have also heard
my grandmother say that today’s clothes and art piece are nowhere close to the
traditional handcrafted works of her time. I would often say that she is too old to
accept the fact but then I would feel the same as myself too sometimes.

So this summer, I decided to work for one such organisation that is into
preserving the ancient art forms and local traditions. In the beginning, I have
had doubts of my own whether it would actually be working in the field or would
it be the desk job. But thanks god, it was a combination of both. We were
required to identify the old centres of traditional arts and crafts and prepare a
report on what is the reality at ground zero. What are the financial statuses of
the craftsman and his family, how well does the market buy their art pieces and
finally how can we actually help them? It was actually very good and even oddly
satisfying. Everyone had to pick a stream and I took the apparels. I had to find
the ways to preserve the traditional art with the help of the apparel industry.

I started my research by exploring the internet for hours and hours to find that
ray of hope and motivation that could guide my way. But everything was just
futile. I wasn’t finding anything that could give me an idea of what can be done
in the apparel industry to save these art forms and traditional techniques. Then
one day I saw my neighbour wearing a very beautiful hand printed saree. I was
astonished as there is hardly anyone who wears traditionally
hand printed sarees in Gurgaon anymore. So I rushed to her immediately and
asked her all about it. She simply gave me the address of a website and asked
to visit it to quench all my curiosity. I immediately searched www.bandinisarees.com
on my laptop and there was my inspiration. They had these beautiful sarees in
traditional prints that could mesmerize anyone. So I thought that we hardly see
silk sarees in Gurgaon anymore, why not combine it with traditional prints to
create the needed buzz.

I worked really hard on my idea and drew out the outline of all the possible arts
and techniques that we could use on it. I presented my idea to the executive
team and they just loved it. I was highly appreciated and applauded. On my way
back home I ordered a beautiful hand printed saree for my mother from
Bandini Sarees as it would not have been possible without them.

Georgette sarees in gurgaon, Hand painted sarees in Gurgaon

Since time immemorial, saree has been the perfect traditional wear for Indian women. Any occasion
be it a grand wedding or a simple party, demands for beautiful designer sarees to seek attention and
make you look beautiful. With increasing market, the variety of sarees is also increasing day by day,
which is caused due to the variety in color, embroidery, material, artwork, origin and more. But when it
comes to choosing a saree, what a lady looks into at first is the material. While talking about the
various kinds, ladies have a tough time selecting between the two kinds of saree, chiffon and
georgette. Therefore we will discuss about both the kinds thus making it easier for the ladies to
choose. Chiffon sarees are soft comfortable, perfect work wear and also pretty good for social and
casual meetups. Due to the translucent appearance chiffon sarees are preferred by a lot of young
girls and if worn in correct way with correct accessories can set serious fashion goals. These sarees
are available in various colors and designs. Georgette sarees are the produced from synthetic yarn
producing sophisticated range of sarees at a pretty low cost. It is also very comfortable and is suitable
for any kind of occasion such as formal meetings or parties or weddings.

Chiffon is more of a net like material and translucent whereas georgette is made by twisting the yarn
and is more flexible and comfortable. Chiffon is very light and not suited for heavy work whereas
georgette is heavy fabric thus foundation for articulate embroideries. As georgette sarees are heavier
they don’t tend to fly away and is easier to settle on your body, but if you are looking forward to
show-off your figure then you can go for chiffon. In market, pure georgette sarees are more durable
than the chiffon sarees available so if you are looking for good durable georgette sarees in Gurgaon,
Bandini sarees has an exclusive collection. As georgette sarees are easier to handle and use due to
the toughness of material, it is normally preferred by Indian women.

Now comes another very trendy one in today’s market, hand painted sarees. Almost everyone is fond
of seeing the brush strokes creating a beautiful painting with colours and imagination. Everyone
wishes to possess those wall canvas masterpieces. But imagine wearing something alike. Imagine
draping a masterfully painted six yards canvas. Yes we are talking about hand painted sarees which

Cotton saree in gurgaon,Georgette sarees in gurgaon

What is a saree? When we hear the word saree, it is just the name of another
piece of clothing for us but if we ask the same question to our mother, would the
answer be any different? Is saree just a piece of clothing for them as well? Is it
just another item in their closet? Well, I can’t be speaking for anyone else, but
when I asked my mother about saree the answer was very different, something
that I have not expected.

Her face instantly lit up and for once she was actually pleased with my question
and didn’t scream at me. I have this habit of asking questions about most of her
customary habits. When unable to explain and annoyed by my constant
interrogation she would yell at me real loud. And this was the case in most of
the situations but somehow not this time. She neither yelled nor asked me to do
something else. Instead, she got really interested in answering my question.

She sat me down and started reminiscing about her past. She told me how my
grandmother used to drape only cotton sarees and despised any other fabric.
She told me that she would admire my grandmother’s sarees a lot and would
often drape them to look just like her. Her childhood has been about trying to
drape as many sarees from my grandmother’s closet as she can. She told me
that it was her favourite pass-time and she would often be scolded for messing
with the closet but she never really cared as long as she got to wear the saree.
Her love for saree was immaculate at that time and it still was.

She told me that she learnt about the different fabrics and types of saree from
grandmother’s closet only. Every time there would be a messed up saree lying
on the floor, the grandmother would shout who “left my precious banarasi silk
saree on the floor”. So the love continued from her childhood till now. She took
me to her room and opened her wardrobe and I was awestruck. I wasn’t aware
that she had such a huge collection of sarees with her. I could see almost all the
recognisable colours in her closet. There was a wide range of patterns from
some being just bordered while others being heavily printed. I don’t know much
about the sarees so couldn’t work it out which is which.

Seeing me so much puzzled, my mother just named a few from her collection.
There was kanjeevaram, banarasi silk, bandhani, Doria, chanderi, chikankari
etcetera. I asked her that I don’t see her shopping much so how does she get
hold of such beautiful sarees. She opened her phone and showed me the
website of bandini sarees, www.bandinisarees.com. I was amazed to see their
collection of designer sarees. Not only sarees but also the designer blouses and
the potli bags.

My mother got so excited that she took me out with her for buying saree the
same day. She told me that she likes the cotton sarees the most and that there
are few good shops for cotton sarees in Gurgaon. After cotton sarees, her
next preference was georgette sarees. She has even identified the shops that
sell the most beautiful georgette sarees in Gurgaon. We went to both the
shops to buy a piece of each, cotton as well as georgette saree. My mother
was really happy that day and I had a day well spent with her. We decided to go
out more often. At last, she said that saree is not just a piece of clothing, it is an
emotion for every Indian woman.

In this highly controversial country that we live in, there is only one non controversial, unbiased, and non
judgemental piece of clothing for women, that is a Saree! I am sure most of you will agree with it. Well sarees
are also the most beautiful possession of a woman. Another reason I am fond of sarees is the size factor doesn’t
matter when you’re going to buy a saree and every girl looks beautiful in sarees. I am also a proud daughter
who inherits lots and lots of beautiful sarees of my mother and my grandmother. And this is a well known fact,
the older a saree is the prouder you’ll feel.

The first time I visited Gurgaon, I was very excited to meet my friend after a really long time, and yeah I had

in Maheshwar, and it has a very unique style of thick golden borders, fabricated in cotton and gold. Finally we
reached the store of  Bandini Sarees after a while, and as I entered I was amazed to see their collection. A lady

Chanderi sarees in gurgaon, Malmal sarees in gurgaon

When we speak about handloom sarees, the one category that definitely comes to our attention is Chanderi sarees. Chanderi sarees, termed after the origin of a small town Chanderi, in Madhya Pradesh, have been a favourite of every saree fan. The lightweight, sleek texture and the lushness of the fabric can make anyone fall in love with Chanderi sarees. If you are too much in love with Chanderi sarees or else if you are completely unaware about these sarees, here are some facts you would definitely love to hear:
It is known that the weaving of Chanderi sarees has been going around since the 11th century, in fact references were made in the Indian mythology to the Vedic period signifying that Chanderi sarees were introduced by Lord Krishna’s cousin, Shishupal.

Chanderi sarees are often stated to as woven air which is because of the clearness and pure texture of these sarees. Extra fine yarns produce the high quality fabric, also these yarns do not go through the degumming process to prevent breakage during weaving thus giving the fabric a unique shine and texture.

Chanderi sarees were originally woven by weavers with handspun cotton yarn as fine as 300 counts, and thus the reason behind the richness of the fabric which is as famous as Muslins of Dhaka. The cotton of Chanderi sarees are extracted from a special root called the Kolikanda, thus giving the saree the light yet strong finish.

Chanderi sarees were mainly crafted by the muslim weavers at the beginning. Gradually it moved to Chanderi, when the Koshti weavers from Jhansi migrated to Chanderi in 1350 and settled down. During the 17th century Chanderi was reputable as the hub of knitting Chanderi sarees and the Mughals also opened karkhanas dedicated to the craft until 1677 when the karkhana was ordered to shut down by Aurangzeb.

The butis on Chanderi sarees were woven with the help of needles and seperate needles were used to create the motifs. The motifs were then covered with gold, silver and copper dust by the weavers. Even though Chanderi sarees are now available in bold colours like red, black, navy blue, originally these were characterized by soft pastel colours.
Right from the town of Chanderi, these sarees are now widespread everywhere. If you are looking for gorgeous collection of chanderi sarees in gurgaon, Bandini sarees must be your one and only stop.
